The Bronze sculpture "Eve's Appel is based on the following story: Already in ancient times, the apple was assigned to the worshipped goddesses as a symbol of seduction and fertility. The two goddesses of love Aphrodite and Venus had a pithy fruit with them - But also Hera, Athena or the Germanic goddess Iduna, the guardian of the golden apples. Also for the non-divine Greeks the fruit had a great importance at that time. When a young Greek wanted to get engaged, he threw an apple to his chosen one. If she caught it, nothing stood in the way of the wedding. This particular apple symbolizes the fruit of seduction like no other. The very finely crafted creation "Eve's Apple" by Rudolfo Bucacio, certainly awakens quite different cravings in the viewer.
